This is probably the strongest one volume Kennedy biography I've read. It covers his Presidential and Pre-Presidential life warts and all. It acknowledges that he was just hitting his stride when he died and that the real tragedy is that we never got to see how his presidency would have played out. I'm also amused that he was one of our sickliest President's (Not the sickliest, that honor belongs to FDR) and that people still think of him as so young and healthy.
