Interpretation During Books The Consolations of Philosophy
Alain de Botton's The Consolations of Philosophy takes the discipline of logic and the mind back to its roots. Drawing inspiration from six of the finest minds in history - Socrates, Epicurus, Seneca, Montaigne, Schopenhauer and Nietzsche - he addresses lack of money, the pain of love, inadequacy, anxiety and conformity. De Botton's book led one critic to call philosophy 'the new rock and roll'.Describe Books In Pursuance Of The Consolations of Philosophy

UghI knew exactly what this book was going to be even before I started reading it but I tried to read it anyway, it's the reading material for an online course I'm taking.I could only make it to the third chapter before I got completely frustrated with this book. well maybe I could have changed my mind if I'd survived through the third chapter, it was, after all, titled "Consolation for Frustration".No, Mr. de Botton you can't make your book interesting by telling anecdotes about when you bought
