He could even be her soul mate, but Sibeal's vocation is her true calling, and her heart must answer. As Felix fully regains his memory, Sibeal has a runic divination showing her that Felix must go on a perilous mission-and that she will join him. 3,5/5Theres no denying it: Im addicted to Juliet Marilliers books and even though the story in Seer of Sevenwaters is not as good as in the ten other novels Ive read from her so far, I couldnt stop reading. I think the Sevenwaters books work better with just one view point and I also found the mystery element was dominating the plot too much.
It seemed that the book took a bit to pick up momentum. Perhaps it was my reaction to the narrator whose delivery was disjointed and choppy. What redeemed it for me was that the story brought me to tears. I love an emotional read. I'm looking forward to the final book in the series.
1.5/5Marillier likes to take her time before she gets to the meat of the story, but, oh boy, did she wait this time... I thought it might never happen. Look, if I had somewhat enjoyed the waiting, I'd probably be less harsh with the rating by adding a star. But I didn't. I found it largely irksome. Also, I don't understand why this book needed dual narration. All of the previous books were narrated by Sevenwaters women, so sticking in a male POV that added nothing was a strange decision. It just
I find it hard to believe I've finished book 5 in this series, and I'll be leaving this big family behind soon (with book 6). I really enjoyed this book. Sibeal is wonderful, so calm and strong, and so sure of herself and her vocation as a Druid, not really imagining that she could be missing out on the pleasures of making her own little family. She's been sent tomInis Eala to contemplate, help out, and really consider the next step of her life.Of course, stuff happens, in the form of a
