The premise of this book is straightforward: long-time foster child Lexi, daughter of a drug addict, moves to the Seattle area to live with her great-aunt. Night Road is the first book I have read by author Kristin Hannah. This was an intense book! Up until the fifty percent mark, it appeared to be a coming of age story of sorts.
